How much is my 04 3500 worth.

FYI, I listed my 2005 truck (about 120k miles) for $19,000, and had it sold within 3 days. Had lots of interest at that price - and that's just from a posting on the local Craig's list website. Should have used a higher starting price....oh well, hopefully other people can learn from my mistake!

Hot Rotors, What Do You Think???

And dont forget to replace the flexible brake lines along with the calipers. They should cost less than $20. I recently did a rear brake job, and got all my parts from Rockauto.com. Most of my parts were of the Centric brand - pretty good reputation for quality.

How much is my 04 3500 worth.

It seems to me that there is a very limited supply of our trucks available for sale - and the demand is relatively high. I'm currently in the process of selling my 2005, and I've been surprised with the level of interest. Anyway, I'd check Kelley Blue Book ( kbb.com ) to get a baseline value for...

    Carli suspension commuter 2.0

Cool. I'll be really interested to hear what you think about the Bilstein 5160 shocks.

    Carli suspension commuter 2.0

I dont have the complete starter kit, but I do have the same shocks and 5-leaf progressive spring pack. I'm running custom made front coil springs - same spring rate as stock, but 2" taller. The spring pack makes a big difference for the rear end, since you no longer have the overload leaf...

    Steering box replacement

Is there any type of notch on the spindle of the factory box? If so, does the NAPA box have the same notch? I'm wondering if the coupler wasn't pushed onto the spindle all the way. The bolt hole on the coupler would need to line up with the notch on the spindle. FYI I'm making an assumption...

    leaking axle shaft

I've never heard of an accordion type seal for a solid axle shaft. I would certainly be interested to see one. The only accordion seals I can think of are the ones used with constant velocity joints, which you typically only find on trucks with independent front suspension. And some of the...

    leaking axle shaft

If I understand correctly, it is the axle seal adjacent to the differential that is leaking. A few years ago, I had replaced my axle shafts on a smaller Dana axle on my Jeep, and that seal began to leak a little. It was a very minor leak. It actually fixed itself after a couple of weeks. So you...

power lock failing on back door?

If/when you replace your harness, would you mind snapping some photos? I will probably need to replace my harness soon, and I'd like to see how complicated the process is.

    Carli Torsion Sway bar

I'm a little surprised that Carli is making that claim - I'd personally agree if you do a lot of off-roading. Otherwise, I would think that better shocks would be the best bolt-on for improving ride quality.

    Rust repair opinion

Just a suggestion, in case you'd want to consider a temporary fix... I had the same problem on my truck (rust bubbles). I installed a set of Mopar fender flares to hide the issue. Prior to installing the flares, I used a flapper disk to remove as much rust as I could. I then put on a couple...

    Daytime Runnig Lights - 2004

I installed a set of the Phillips LED daytime running lights. Pretty happy with them. I know you were looking for something OEM, but these might still be worth considering. Installation is pretty simple, the LED bulbs should last a long time, and they automatically dim (as required by DOT law)...

Individual Fender Flare - front driver side only

Just installed a set of fender flares on my truck, and ended up with an extra front driver side flare. Can't imagine that there would be much demand for an individual flare - but thought I would go ahead and post it just in case. $40 shipped. Originally purchased here...

    )6 Radio/CD replacement

Crutchfield is a little more expensive, but they typically include all the wiring harness adaptors that you need, and include vehicle-specific installation directions. Plus, you get free tech assistance if needed. It's been a while since I've bought anything from Crutchfield, but last time I...
