    mine did the same thing ... . changed the sending unit and all is well and its a pain to get the connector keeper off so dont go to yanking it without getting it out

    you might also check the condensation drain mine was broke at the firewall draining in the passanger floorboard

    my tube cracked at the air box just inside the firewall and behind the carpet may look there
