Ryan thank you for the lesson i never was into electrical work but i can build anything. thanks again you wouldnt happen to know what that wire i tapped was i still worriedi might have messed something up.

The bigger 12 guage wire was the one i tapped. You guys think i should pull the tap off if i do what can i do to protect the bare wire.

It was the boost guage but I got that replaced I am talkin about where I tapped for the key on power for my egt guage. And rather than using the little t taps what do you recommend. Thanks for all your info.

Ya it was too tall now its just a 4in in front and stock in back. I sent the boost guage back to genos they replaced it no problem it was stuck when i pulled it out of the box. My problem is now what wire did i tap at first that made my truck crazy cause i still dont think it is right even...

it is an electric egt guage. I used the diesel manor install instructions and it say to tap the pink with yellow stripewire in the main harness so i tapped it its a 12 guage wire i think and my truck went crazy throttle would stick and run real bad. i hope that i didnt mess my brand new truck...

I just installed my autometer boost guage with the boost bolt and the guage is stuck on 6psi even when the truck is off. when i drive it the neddle is real bouncy not real smooth what do u guys think the problem is. I used the pink with yellow stripe wire in the big harness if that matters. thanks.

I have been reading all the other post and i am not sure what the best way to drill for the probe pre turbo. On my last truck my friend just left my truck idiling and drilled away it seemed easy and i had no problems at all. After reading all the other post i dont know if this is a good idea...
