    Hey guys little bit of an emergency, my truck runs fine all day until about half a tank then it loses power or dies while driving if I coast in neutral.     Yes I removed the bandaid(electric inline pump) and now just have the mechanical lift pump(yes it has a primer pump on it) but isn’t there supposed to be some kind of electric prime when I turn the key to the on position?

    Another question guys, I’m in the process as we speak removing old lines and that bandaid electric inline pump. Once said and done when I’m ready to prime, shouldn’t I turn the key and hear a pump whirring noise or something to draw fuel into the lift pump to begin with? Or should I have to...

    I Don’t seem to lose power once started and running, , the truck is stock with no visual upgrades done. I do not see a block off plate or anything done to the lift pump.

    When you say lift pump do you mean the one by the engine block or the one in the fuel tank? If you do mean the engine block one should I just leave the electric inline pump alone?
