I used gloss black lacquer on my Jeep Rubicon wheels and they came out nice, held up well to.

I don't want them it it's unsafe or illegal, just thought they looked cool, instead of that big plastic blob of red. ;)

Maybe I'm ignorant, but I assumed something like a brake light, a safety requirement, would be posted on the web site as legal or illegal.

Been looking to replace the stock tail lights and came across a pair on ebay motors that I like but I'm not sure they are legal? Do the brake lights have to be red?

It's been bugging me for a while now. I gotta get rid of the chrome! I thought I'd start with debadging. Then with the Westin tube steps. Should I bother painting them or just ditch 'em and buy black ones? Then there's the grill. Can you paint over the chrome plastic? Then the silver rockers...

Don't know if this is any connection, but my stock radio(RBK) with sirius would always reset itself at start up. Never didn't come on though, like yours, just would go to default sirius station. Then I got new batteries and doesn't do it anymore. :confused:

How cold before you really need to plug in? My truck has never had trouble starting up, and I know it's been low single digits, if not below 0 at times this winter.

If it's a lot of plowin I'd lean towards the auto. I find the 6 spd a little tiresome to plow with. I don't like the location of reverse and it can get a little hoppy while backing up.

I just transferred the Max care plan 7year 100k bumper to bumper that the original owner bought, only cost me $50. They did not offer me the refund option for the extra $100, but I guess they really couldn't. I'm just glad for the extra coverage!

It's funny how some don't really notice a difference and others just rave about the upgraded shocks and springs. I'd like to hear from others with a plow and stock shock and spacers.
