I did the reset up by the display but it still wants to run backwards. Im going to try pulling the main fuse in the fuse box in the morning to see if that will restart it correctly.

Thanks guys. I clipped off about 1/2 inch of overflow hose going near the fill cap, to get a fresh fit , and secured with a plastic tie. That should do the trick.
