If the axle is pulled without draining the diff, oil will spill into the axle tube. It may not be obvious until later when it eventually starts coming out later. There's a very good chance you don't need to have the seals replaced.

I noticed one of the nuts on mine was loose the other day while doing an oil change. Probably a good idea to check yours. Pretty easy to lock them back down if need be.

DEF is used to lower NOx emissions. NOx is formed at higher combustion temperatures. Working the engine hard results in higher combustion temperatures. Therefore DEF usage will be higher when towing.

The only thing I miss about my '96 is the exhaust and turbo sound.

I assumed the lenses were amber colored. Clear lenses should not effect the color. In this case it may be the particular led bulbs they used don't match the shade you are looking for. You may have to try a different brand of led with a more appealing shade. Sorry, that's all I got for ya.

Did the clearance light kit come with incandescent bulbs originally? If all they did to upgrade to led is change the bulbs out, they may have installed white leds instead of amber ones. Led bulb color should match the color of the lens they are behind, or they will appear washed out. The...
