Hey Jim. Thanks for the reply. I fixed my sig so u can see that I have a 08 CTD. Thanks for the oil info. I am all for doing my own oil change and service but I would like to know how does Dodge or Cummins know that it has been done at correct intervals and properly in case there is a warranty...- tallboy1

Howdy ya'll. I am a TDR and Dodge Diesel newbie and am very glad I found this site. I am getting ready for my first trip to the dealer for service and wondering what kind of oil to get. What does Cummins recommend? Can I take my own oil to the dealer? What do the TDR old timers recommend. Thanks- tallboy1
