The really funny thing about that is that that 'new' limiter strategy there is what the SHO pump already runs. Nobody uses the older limiter style anymore, and with the high flow rates of diesel systems, the pulsation was never a salient issue anyway. It's a solution in search of a problem.

Often the methanol content will have a big impact on power like that. Good to hear! Thats a very low price too on the methanol. I usually see it from 4-10 dollars/Gallon.
