    Update! I have the truck this evening and im checking things out. When you start the truck it says "exhuast filter full" Reduced power mode. I have access to some good DPFs from the same year. When those are installed will it sense the problem solved? I imagine the EGR cooler and such needs...

    Thanks. Its an 84 with a diesel title in Cali so I figured Id make it go fast. Dana 60s, Ford ZF5, Four link rear, three link front, 40 inch tires on the way. Its a work in progress. p pump 4bt too.
