I have an oil leak on the drivers side behind the timing chain cover. I thought it was the crankcase vent so I reengineered that with a larger see thru catch container. It has leaked for years so I pressure washed the underside to help locate the leak. I am now certain it is from one of the...
How do you remove the hockey puck part of the crankcase vent at the top front of the timing gear cover? I pried and tugged on it a little today but didn't want to damage it if that is not the way it comes out.
I noticed that there is about a 1/4" gap between the Pitman arm and the base of the power steering block so I thought I would check the torque on the bolt. My 32mm socket would not fit on so I suspect it is a 1 & 5/8" Bolt. Can't believe there is not a coter pin to keep the bolt from falling off...

Replaced starter and ingnition tumbler and there are still times when I turn the key and nothing happens. I turn the key on and wait for all the dashboard lights to go out and turn the key to start and it is dead silent. This only happens every once in a while. So it is very hard to solve since...
If I am running a steady speed around 45 mph the transmission is bouncing between OD and the next gear down. I have read about the key trick but don't know the procedure to determine a trouble code? Thanks
Has anyone had any issues with an oil leak coming from the the front right area? My leak looses about 1 gallon per 3,000 miles. Facing the fan it is definitely coming from the right side somewhere below the fan. I believe the leak started when I was backing uphill about a year ago. It was a...
