I'm trying to take off my shift knob on the transfer case shifter to put on a geno's C power shift knob. Problem is, It won't come off! Are they thread locked on at the factory or something?

Need a new front brake line(tire rub), and was thinking about some s/s braided lines. Heard there are issues with some, so I need some good advice on brand, and some pro's and cons of using s/s brake lines. Seems like I remember a ad for kevlar braided lines?

Is it hard on your transfer case running up to and over a 100mph? I always understood not to run over 55-60mph in 4-high.
Do you have to modify it, or short bursts in straight lines not to hard on them?
