Would anyone know if the gears in 2wd and 4wd nv4500s are the same? I have a 4x4 that i lost 3rd in and found a good 2wd 4500 that the guy will sell me for scrap price. . I was hoping 2 take the two and make one good one. . Thanks 2 anybody that can help.

Does anybody know what they say an nv4500 transmission will hold up 2? I had mine rebuilt in late december and just shelled 3rd gear out again! Same thing happened last time shifted into 3rd gear and rolled into the throtle to build up speed and grrzgj bang no teeth or 3rd gear again! And...
