Hello all, I've been out of touch with everything 4th Gen Ram as mine was down with a bad dual-disk clutch. I've since gotten the repairs paid for and and once again, bring my 2014 Ram back to life. A lot still has to be done. Among the tasks is the DEF delete I'd like to perform on it. I know...

Abnormally High levels of Aluminum and Potassium in oil

I've received my oil sample analysis from ALS Tribiology, a service I've been using for the entire life of my truck, with result that includes abnormally high levels of aluminum and potassium in my oil at 11 ppm during my previous oil sample to 25 ppm and 22 ppm to 51 ppm respectively. At the...

    Exhaust manifold woes...

Hello again all, Has anyone attempted the exhaust manifold gasket replacement on our 6.7s? I heard that they have weak manifold-to-head bolts and that there is a fix by upgrading those bolts. I also heard it us a bear of a job to do and one shop told me it is at least 15 hours labor that could...

regen shuts off when applying - and returns - when releasing, brakes, really!

Hello once again with another development. I'll be idling for a while when the regen system will come on, I discovered that when I touch the brake pedal, the regen shuts off and, when I let off the brake pedal, the regen resumes. Where can be the correlation?

G56 jumps out of gear coasting downhill with engine brake on...

And then, we have the transmission "issue". Popping out of gear while coasting downhill in 6th particularly with the engine brake on. This only happens when I am coasting down a hill and only in 6th gear. I can coast down in 5th and never have this. I also accelerate easy or hard in all gears...

Death Valley in Summer - NOT GOOD! 6-speed troubles...

Okay, so, I know better but did it anyway. I'd decided to run across Death valley with this load of cars. So after pulling some of these steeper grades grossing 34,000 lbs (at least), I dropped into a low as first gear and topping out at these hills at 5 MPH, saw coolant temps reaching 237...

Can anyone tell me what they think may be the problem as I think I am into new territory here. I am losing power on a regular basis as I hold the fuel pedal to the floor. DPF cleaning; has anyone tried to...?

Has anyone ever attempted to "wash out" their DPF filter? I'm in a jam and need to do something other than spending $2000.00+ on a new unit. I have a 2014 Ram 3500 6-speed with 148,000 miles, 2111 idle hours and 3139 drive hours on it. I haul cars with a 4-car trailer and usually gross 28,000 -...
