    Check Engine Code 111

    Anyone know what this code is just started up my truck and check eng. light was on. Checked the oil it was a quart low ( unusual ) added oil and did the key trick and came up with code 111 my book shows the 1st code as 112?

    Clunk wasn't rear end It's 48RE

    Took My truck in to the dealer to find out what the clunk was when it shifted into low gear, called them yesterday afternoon the dealer was consulting with DC on the problem. Seems in the early 90's (46RE) there was a problem with the overdrive when it would kick out 18mph or so it would thump...

    Jacobs exhaust brakes and Warranty

    Reading Issue 55 of TDR mag. tells me that only the Jacobs brake is covered under Warranty for my 06. What will be voided if I finish installing my Pacbrake,Just the 48RE or all running gear? I don't think it will stop me but I'd like to know.

    Rear End Clunk

    1st time post - I have an 06 3500 no mods now has 7000. miles on it but since the day I drove it home it has had a clunk when slowing down, only the lowest gear. I don't know if it is because the torque conv. kicks loose or what but sounds like a bad U joint, anyone else have this? :rolleyes:
