    Repaired 48RE

    I posted a question Saturday to see if anyone had problems with thier 48RE missing 2nd gear. Well I got mine back today and this is what the repair order said. They found the 2nd gear band broken, anchor piece stuck in the linkage that prevented it from going into park. Trans. kickdown (2nd)...

    48RE Problem

    I just dropped my truck(03 3500, 4x4) off at the dealer. This morning when I went to town the transmission would skip 2nd, When I tried to shift manually it would not shift into second when I selected it. Also when I stopped for fuel and put it in park the truck would roll on the sloped ramp...
