I’ve bought into the BBi program and now it is time jump in with both feet and see if they are real. Heater Core - Factory screw up

Of course, about the time I don't NEED a problem is when Murphy decides to visit. Water standing on passenger floorboard and trail down the firewall. Oh fun, HVAC box removal time. This what the hold down looks like under all the rubber and foam. This is what happens when you put metal...

    New BMS Injectors are in

Got the new BMS 50 HP injectors installed over the weekend. Noticeable power difference even on stock SW. How much was the old injectors just out of spec is unknown. The most noticeable thing is the how much quieter and smoother the engine is now. Gone is the timing\injector rattle this truck...

What the heck is up with Dodge or is this Dealer just useless??????

Long story short, at 213k injectors are making some noises that concern me. Going to replace them, but, I am curious about what the standard tests would show. So call Landmark Dodge to schedule 2 tests, cylinder contribution and injector return flow. I would have asked about a balance test but...

    Vibration Problem. Solved!!!!!!!!

After chasing a vibration for a year that really seemed to be a tire problem, simple maintenance solved the problem. I have balanced tires multiple times, added new ujoints with the 2 piece, changed to 1 piece DS, removed and installed front drvie shaft chasing this thing thru the drive train...

    Possible Cam\Tappet issue

Have a 93 with about 170k on it my son has been driving for the last year. Runs good but has always had more of a rough idle than we thought it should. Advancing the timing seems to smooth it out a lot. Long story short LP died, and power was down after a new pump. A rebuilt VE and we ended...

    New Truck & HE351VE

Scored a pretty decent 92 4x4 last week. Has POD's, virgin pump, and a rebuilt 518. Needs some TLC and massaging but my son is happy with it. (My son is decent mechanic and mechanical engineer, he ain't a photographer) :-laf

Low line pressure and more power

Just a little idea of what happens when you ignore your transmission. ;) Woops! I think I found the shifting problem. New type of steel. Its wavy to take up extra slack in the stack. Uh oh! More parts! I think this would the source of the problem. IE shaft on the left...

    Engine and Trans Swap

I have seen several references to upgrading to 2nd Gen motors and auto trans. Anybody have info on what it takes to move these computer controlled pieces to a non-computer vehicle? I have been told by trans rebuilders it is impossible to upgrade to 45/47 RH trans. Any thoughts?
