    So... I pulled the ground off the batteries and turned the ignition on for about an hour. Then reconnected the batteries, performed a APPS calibration and cleared all codes. Went for drive and the truck is now behaving perfectly. Smooth, consistent and boost is behaving the way it should...

    Forgot to post - I have a fuel gauge... WOT 12PSI Live data on android reveals nothing other than what I can sense without the gauge. And....throwing no codes. That's what makes it so puzzling. (and frustrating)

    Air. Quick test. Pump the brake pedal a few times and note whether it goes down less each time. If it does you have air in a line.

    Just put my 02 back on the road after 3 weeks of renovation. Started from the back, bed off, chassis media blasted and painted, axle overhauled, U-joints, shackles, bushings,etc. New stainless brake lines front to rear. Overhauled steering, replaced shot lower bearing.(what a difference!!)

    Crud, I was afraid the flame wrench might be the answer. I have plasma cutting to 1/4", MIG and TIG but I let the oxy/acetylene tanks run dry years ago. Nuts!

    Is there some secret incantation to getting the lower shackle bolt out? The shackle has rusted through but I can't get it off. The bolt turns, but does not move. Used a gear puller and got it to move an inch. Used a 10 lb sledge and the bolt is even with bracket but I can not get it to move...

    Did and done... nothing found. Well, technically I found a flywheel and ring gear all intact and happy. :-laf Other than the destroyed spacer and the broken ear on the starter, which I have cleaned up and repaired to use as a spare, there was no other damage found.
