Sounds like my upgrading my 1995 RAM 3500 with a larger turbo is a waste of time? I am only interested in getting up the hill at a more reasonable speed.

Just thinking that if you upgrade your turbo, maybe you want to sell me the old Super B? I'm not trying to win any races, for now at least, just want to pull my trailer up the hill at a reasonable speed.
