your accelerator pedal position sensor is located on your accelerator pedal. it is on top or the pedal. it is inside of the truck and there should'nt have any corrosion on the contacts. i have over 100 thousand miles on mine with no problems. hope this was helpful

i wired my switch with a jumper connector. starts with out depressing clutch . just be carefull to make sure trans is in netural before trying to start it. i never leave my truck in gear i always use the parking brake.
