    Arcola Illinois

I didn't know there was a campground in Shelbyville. Never heard of Robin Hood Woods. I checked their web site, and for their price, I can stay at Effingham, and have cable TV hook-up. And, no seasonal units. We have stayed at Holiday Campground in Roselawn, Indiana that had seasonal people, and...

Yes, there is Wolf Creek State Park, and Eagle Creek State Park, which, are actually in Findley. There is a neat little mom and pop cafe on the south side of the road on the main drag through town. A gun shop on the east side of town by the railroad tracks. Anyway... ... ... Guns, Bows, Shooting Sports, and Hunting .38 ACP and 9MM Largo

What I normally do with older pistols like this is take them apart, clean, lube and inspect everything. Then, if I think it is OK to pull the trigger, I have a pair of leather gloves, and try to find a tree to stand behind. And, usually shoot it support hand. I like having all my fingers.

Guns, Bows, Shooting Sports, and Hunting .38 ACP and 9MM Largo

HH, Thanks for all the info. The only way I'm going to pull the trigger on the Largo is if I use the old ammo that I found. I know there 2 of the Largo carbines in the gun locker. I did order some of 8mm Nambu ammo. Again, thanks for the info

Glad I could help. Schied Diesel is also in Effingham. South route 45, which is Banker Street. There is a Tractor Supply store, too. Almost like a Farm and Fleet. They have a bit of everything. Also on South Route 45. There are 3 truck stops, 2 blue beacon truck washes, and an Iowa 80 truck...

    Arcola Illinois

I live just 30 minutes north of Arcola. There is a full hook-up campground in Effingham, Illinois, cable, electric sewer and cable tv hook up. Effingham is about 30 minutes south of Arcola. The name of the campground is Camp Lakewood. If you call, you will talk to Brian or Vanessa. Just tell...

Guns, Bows, Shooting Sports, and Hunting .38 ACP and 9MM Largo

Yes, they do cost a bit, don't they. It would be worth it just to have rounds for the weapon. Thanks... . I'll get the charge card out and get some ordered. Regards,

Guns, Bows, Shooting Sports, and Hunting .38 ACP and 9MM Largo

OK, old timers, I need some help here. I have been given a Astra model 1921 9MM Largo pistol. I have also been given several boxes of . 38 ACP ammo, along with 9MM Largo ammo. From the research I've been able to do, it is safe to shoot . 38 ACP ammo in this weapon. Not . 38 Super, for it will...

    rear axle howl

I just pulled up my notes on what was done to the truck, and the front and rear diffs were servied at 21,636 miles, 41,600 miles, 62,700 miles, and 82,227 miles. I have the reminder written down for 20,000 miles.

    rear axle howl

Bob, That is something I never understood with Dodge. Dodge says to service the diffs every 40 or 80 thousand miles or so. I have to pull my book out to be sure. Anyway, no other truck that I have owned have ever had this as part of regular service.

    rear axle howl

I don't exactly understand this. I printed it off of Geno's Garage Website.

    rear axle howl

OK, here is what I found out. #1)On 12-22-05, the carrier bearing was replaced under warrenty. #2) On 12-20-05, I printed out a paper from Geno's Garage about the center carrier bearing. While Dodge didn't issure a TSB, they did issue a "Solution Number" which is K32981098. I hope this helps...

    rear axle howl

No, I have done nothing, yet. It is kinda of cold here in Ill-annoy, and I don't have a heated garage. I think the first thing I need to do is take the rear diff cover off, and see what is going on there. There really isn't a lot that can be done before that, other than to inspect the rear drive...

    rear axle howl

Oh hell, I forgot all about that. Didn't Ford have a problem with that? Now that you have tripped my pea brain, I remember reading something about that. Don't remember what vehilce it was for. Thanks,
  15. Grumpytrkr

    rear axle howl

I'm getting a howl from the rear axle of my 04. 5 4X4 with an automatic transmission. I did a search, and am going with either a rear wheel bearing, or, a whole rear axle. The truck has 90,000 miles on it, so I know warranty will not cover it. It only does it when the temp drops into the teens...

Has anyone Installed LED Line Of Fire Tailgate Bar??

Did you get the one that will also work with your back up lights? Don't know what year your truck is, however, I found that turning it upside down will fit better if your spare tire has the hole for the crank. You do have to change the wires. Yellow=Left, Green=Right Brown=Tail lights...
