    Laminate floor in 5th Wheel?

    My brother Bob just puuled the carpeting and put a vinyl floor in his Avion 5th wheel. He loves it. And it looks just like an expensive ceramic tile floor. Do it.

    The 6. 7 has been in industrial applications for some time. My brother worked for FEDEX and their plane mules had 6. 7's in them. He said they run full time at 2000 rpm and are bullet proof. Have fun and enjoy!! I am.

    Yes, Another Guage Question. Need Clarification

    I have the ISOPRO 3 pod on the dash and lvoe it. I do not have to take my eyes off the road. EGT, Boost 0-60 and, transmission temp. My brother put his up by the console and wishes he put his on the dash. Love my truck except for fuel mileage.

    I have a 08 automatic and pull a 14500 lb 5ver. It is an awesome truck! I agree with the posts. Get the 373 rear axel and you will be happier than the 411.

    towing

    I have an 08 with the 68rfe and 3. 73's. I just pulled my 14. 5K 5er around 7000 miles. I clock around 1500 rpm at 60mph just fine. If I need more power I drop it in to 5th and not a problem.

    Plastic oilpan

    Just tried to attached a magnet to my 08 6. 7 oil pan and it clinked on just as if it were metal! Do the composite pans do that?

    I would have not traveled to Arizona to buy a 2002 2500 CTD and just gone ahead and bit the bullet and goten a new 6. 7. Ouch the trade hurt!!! Lovin my 2008!!!

    2008 ? 373 vs 342

    I have a 08 and auto trans with 373's. It is a great combo. At 60mph tacometer says 1500rpm's. I pull a 14. 5K 5ver and it pulls good.

    Griffin Radiators

    Take out the radiator and bring it to a car wash and spray the heck out of it. You will be amazed what comes out and does it ever help! My water temp went up hauling the 5er and after I washed it out the temp NEVER moved off 180! 2002 CTD

    I have a 08 6. 7 68rfe loaded with 3500 miles. Empty- 15. 5MPG, towing 14. 5K 5th wheel 9 to 10MPG. But, I love the way it handles the 5er!!!

    3.73 vs 4.10, spd auto?

    Got a 08 with 3. 73's and a automatic. We just pulled our 14. 5K lb 5th wheel from Minn to Texas and the 3. 73 was just fine. At times I put it in 5th and the RPM's kept her going perfect. If you are going to pull heavy in the mountains maybe you want 4. 0's. Just my opinion.

    Heavy load downshift from 6th to 5th question

    Thanks guys i guess the truck is acting normally. Wolfy, I realize the rpm's need to go up on down shifting to get power it was the short extra increase in rpms i was concerned with.
