Ignition Switch Removed - Truck Thinks It's Running

Good job tracking that down. Like I said, the IPM/PDC connections are eventually prone to corrosion. That said, what part do you plan to buy "new" ? I am fairly sure that there are no PDC or IPMs available new anywhere, though you might be able to get it rebuilt.

Ignition Switch Removed - Truck Thinks It's Running

On your late 2004 there is an "IPM" attached directly to the "PDC" (Power Distribution Center otherwise known as a "fuse box" ;)). It is a small silver box. It is generally regarded as unserviceable, though several people HAVE cloely examined the connections and silicone boards inside and found...

2009 cab and chassis smoke after new turbo.

Sounds to me like it could well be a sticking vane actuator. It would be helpful to know which turbo you bought from Genos and if it came with the actuator already calibrated.

Is Stellantis data collection done by consent?

NOT sure this is true as I have read that insurance companies can buy and track individual customers driving data and traits from the vehicle data that is sold…so SOMETHING is not completely anonymized. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a60175396/connected-cars-driver-data-tracking-insurance/

Oily drips on inside cab floor below glove box

It looks, feels and smells oily. That said, its a good idea and I'll check the evaporator drian tube as I have a long brush to do that. Any idea where it I can access it from? Behind the passenger side wheel well or under the truck ?? Thank you … my bad on not knowing the correct names of...

    Wiper control switch

Mopar #56049823AB Though if you can still find it, Mopar #CNH3X200AA is the same switch and is MUCH less expensive.

Oily drips on inside cab floor below glove box

Unfortunately not, though I do have a trustworthy shop that I can take it too to check it out.

Oily drips on inside cab floor below glove box

Thankfully I have Weathertech mats, but the title says it all… These drips are happening while the truck is sitting. I am assuming that they are refrigerant system oil leaking from a leaking AC/heat exchanger or connection. I will pull the AC fuse to prevent the compressor from running without...

    Wiper control switch

Yes the switch is easily removable and cleanable. That said, I bought an OEM replacement and then modified it so I could run both high beams and low beams together for brighter forward lighting. Then I installed the modified one in place of the malfunctioning one and then cleaned and modified...

    Steering rack bolts

That would make sense … the major diameter of an M16 bolt is almost exactly 5/8" or .629" That said, NO need for any sort of chart or measurements… you can always place the bolt you need agains a sample bolt near the same diameter and of any length…if the threads precisely interlock, that is...
