Mine wont always connect to my phone either. Usually if I try to make a call from the phone the U-Connect will show up or if I press the U-Connect buttom on the mirror. I don't use my phone in the truck very often so I really don't know how often this actually occurs.

Some of the guys that tow 5th wheels or goosenecks take the rear spacers out to lower the rear of the truck a few inches. This helps give a little more clearance over the bed rail on the 4x4 trucks.

I found out that if you replace the 2008 in the link with 2007 you can get the 2007 Parts Manuals. I think this also works with other years but I haven't tried any of those. Of Course the C&C and 4500 - 5500 links wont work with years that those trucks weren't in production.

A paint and body shop told me to use rubbing alcohol and it worked great. I was really surprised. I had bought some stuff from that they sold and ended up returning it bacause I didn't need it. That saved me about $15. :) Rubbing alcohol is cheap and it wont hurt the finish at all either.
