    just a rapid fluttering sound... ... kinda like shuffling a deck of cards but much louder. you will know when you hear it.

    he needs to stop driving it or it will just get worse... . expensive. pull the head, it will tell you everything. and have injectors tested.

    Exhaust smell of raw fuel

    it could be the return fuel line on back of head leaking. i had a fuel smell with no visible leaks and found it to be the bolt holding return fuel line on back of head.

    i found the upper rad hose clamp was stripped and not holdin tight. so i installed a new one and now no more leaks.

    Why gut the grid heater delete...just remove the grid itself?

    I would think this would be ok? Why not just remove the grid block itself and drop intake down to plenum? No? What's your thoughts?
