Jingling, clicking noise for the last couple weeks on my rig. Could hear it at 20-30 mph. I could hear it best with my head out the window. . listening. Fount bad LF u-joint today. I could hear the click when I spun the wheel while the truck was on a lift at the shop.

If the plug leaks coolant, is it loose? Do I tighten it? What is spec lbs. of torque? thanks for the enlightenment.

Thank you Craig. On a couple occasions, I have found what appears to be coolant around the plug, which sits to the right of the "bolt" if you look at the picture. What are my concerns? I am assuming the screw to the right (in the red circle) is a "plug" for the coolant jacket.

Attached photo shows my engine and circled in red are two bolts/screws. What are they? Can they leak?

I need to replace bad water pump. How much coolant should I expect to drain before removing bad pump and installing new one? I will drain new Zerex G05 into clean container and refill radiator after new water pump is installed. Maybe I need to expect to drain all the coolant? Thanks :)
