I got to redo my battery cable clamps. I have the main positive terminal on the driver side that is rusty and will not tighten any more. Does anyone have any good ideas to redo that without getting to involved in replacing the whole cable or does the cable need to be replaced?

I went out this morning and got in my truck and noticed my dash has cracked right in the middle from front to back. The crack is about 12 inches long. Would this be caused from heat in the sun and does it cause any problems with air flow for my air ducts. Has anyone else had this problem?

that's not correct. My speedometer wasn't working at all & when I changed the rear sensor on the axle, it worked again like it should.

It turned out the original boot had disenegrated & got wedged in the spring making it hard to move. I cleaned all of that off & it works fine now. I'm ordering a new boot to keep it protected & I should be good for a while longer. Thanks for the help.

I'll tell u what I did. Napa had the lowest quoted prices @ 225 but there availability was a few days. I took that price & O'reilly's matched it & got it for me in a half a day. Installation took me a hour & 15 minutes & fit perfectly.

My fuel shutoff solenoid is messing up on me. The truck fires up by cranking it over a little longer, or by going under the hood and lifting the plunger all the way up. What is the easiest fix to get it going? Thanks

sounds like you need a new speed/abs sensor. On my 98 it was located on top of the rear axle. Any other ideas, anyone?
