    Thanks for the replies! I forgot to mention that I already replaced the output speed sensor. I'm throwing a 1765 code, which I assume is due to the BD Pressureloc that required the trans relay to be replaced by a jumper...

    Well, it happened to me too. My 47RE (BD’s version) is shifting really late from first to second, typically about 2. 5k rpm. Fluid level is good and the throttle cable is properly adjusted. So, thanks to reading several posts on this site, I know that the next step is to replace the governor...
