    Lift pump question

    My lift pump died going 70 mph down the interstate. It had NO previous signs of failure. The truck shut off just like turning off the key, but all the lights were on. Luckily it happened close to an off ramp and we coasted very close to a gas station. This happend at 65k miles on the truck...

    Why on earth would Dodge put a light duty trans in a heavy duty truck? THEN,,,,come out with a heavy duty replacement?? I thought Cummins and Dodge had their crap together finally! Guess I'm just another dumb consumer!!#@$%!

    Is Your Ctd Trouble Free

    Bought my CTD new in March 2005. It was a 2004. 5 model . Has had a few issues. Rear universal joint at 35k. Lift pump upgrade at 60k. Wheel bearinig at 50k. All in all its a heck of a truck.
