If I remember reading my FSM correctly, the OEM alarm uses the CTM, and if you have an aftermarket alarm, the installer may have connected to it or its wires in some way.

i will chime in here, I did the full replacement dash from genos and did the bezel cover at the same time. Very happy with the fit and finish. I painted it myself with the Chrysler paint.

What year is your truck? I ask because I ordered an ECM from ACE and when I got it there was no communication with my injection pump. Put the old one in and it communicates fine. Sent it back with a note attached and called to explain the problem, and so they reflash it and sent it back to me...
