Caught the article in Issue 73 this week. Pulled mine today at 56k and the openings were clogged about 99%. How could this not be throwing codes ?

I had the EZ down on for about 6 months, worked well on the way down but the darn cable kept getting caught between the gate and taillight (2008 model) even tried various tie wrap scenarios to keep it clear but I finally gave up and removed it before it damaged the light or the paint.

Does the way the truck is parked matter to the effectiveness of the block heater ? My driveway has an approx 6 degree up angle (maybe more) and I'm just wondering if the coolant stays in proper contact with the heater when it's parked like that or is the heater just in an air pocket ?
