    Coolant bypass hose part number?

Looking for this molded coolant bypass hose that comes from the top of the engine over to the standpipe. Mine failed and I’m currently just using a short piece of 3/4 inch hose to make the connection until I can get one of these. The ones online seem to be more of a cheaper rubber material than...

    Best replacement turbo actuator

Who has the best replacement turbo actuators? Currently looking at Circuit Board Medics reman & City Diesel. CBM completely rebuilds with OEM parts etc. Currently on sale for $750. https://circuitboardmedics.com/remanufactured-dodge-6-7l-cummins-holset-he300vg-turbo-actuator/ I’ve seen lots...

2013 Laramie Longhorn seat bottom upholstery

The left side of the bottom of my drivers seat upholstery is finally wearing out. I’d like to match it with the OEM but since it has the Laramie Longhorn “western” design in it, I fear that may not be a possibility. I don’t want to do covers & want to stay as close to OEM look as possible. What...

Replaced the "Killer" Grid Heater Bolt

Just gave mine the wiggle test. Had zero movement and felt very solid. I would say I have some time. I guess since mine doesn’t cycle as much, it hasn’t had as much wear. I’ll wait til the weather cools down and hopefully get it done. I really need to check/adjust the valves while I’m doing...

Replaced the "Killer" Grid Heater Bolt

I live in Arkansas. My truck is inside half the time. Plugged up the other half of the time if it’s outside over night, so even when it’s cold, it doesn’t cycle long.

Replaced the "Killer" Grid Heater Bolt

Got it. From the videos I’ve watched, I understood that the nut was the failure point.

Replaced the "Killer" Grid Heater Bolt

I get what you’re saying, and I agree. It’s definitely a beefier design. However, mine has lasted for over 200,000 miles so far with zero issues. So, if I were to just replace the nut, what would the actual danger be? I plan on keeping the truck a while, but I really don’t want to spend $200...

Replaced the "Killer" Grid Heater Bolt

Are there any dangers to just replacing the bolt/nut with a better nut/bolt?

    Start button bezel

The bezel on my push to start button came off. Is it replaceable or is it the whole unit? If the whole unit, is it easy as just putting a new one in or does it have to be programmed etc? Thanks Craig

    Dash Display

My cluster failed and I sent it to these guys. They fixed me up in record time and had it back to me with overnight shipping both ways. https://circuitboardmedics.com/2013-2019-ram-instrument-cluster-repair/

Air Conditioning and Heater Control Location

On mine (2013 Laramie Longhorn Mega cab) it was located on the passenger side behind the right side of the glove box. It should be accessible if you pull the glove box out. IF that’s where yours is.

    Parasitic battery draw from radio?

I ended up placing a relay at the fuse (on the passenger firewall) for the 8.4 radio. So far I haven’t had any more problems. The relay setup was cheaper than replacing the radio. Maybe someday I’ll replace it. The only caveat is that once I shut my truck down, if it’s more than just a few...

    Windows keeps fogging over

Thanks for the info Bruce. That explanation helps. I’ll look into the HVAC drain tomorrow.

    Windows keeps fogging over

When it’s cold out, I have to leave my defrost on to keep the windows from fogging up. If I change to face/feet all of the windows begin fogging over within about 45-60 seconds. I’ve tried with the a/c compresssor on & off, recirculate on/off and it does it no matter what I do. Replaced the...

This was the third set of Odysseys that went bad. I can’t imagine 2 sets then another single going bad. Craig

Complicated RA4 Uconnect amp draw issue

Its really weird. My truck gets driven literally every day. Half of the nights (when I am at home, and not at the fire station or ambulance) the truck is on a battery tender overnight. When I most recently replaced the batteries, only the drivers side battery was bad. The passenger side was...
