Update to my earlier post, 423,000 miles and it had to go into transmission shop. The solenoid block gave up the ghost. Shop mechanic said they rest of the transmission is in really good shape for the miles. Keep running it til the wheels fall off, or 500,000 miles when I get a new truck. Still happy...

362,000 miles and three filter with fluid changes.No problems to report. More than half the mile accumulated pulling between 8,000 to 14,000lbs. Can't beat this as it is my bread winner.

Just reading old stuff and this one made me LOL. I had to have a rear pinion seal replaced in Albuquerque, 320K miles and they wanted to replace my power steering pump for $700+. I ended up replacing the pump at 348K miles for under $100 and a lot of cussing in my garage.
