    Coolant Leak ?

Same thing as JWadford--- The hoseclamps were about 5 turns from being tight. Cleared it right up.

    Cleaning AFE filters

After messing around with all crap asst. w/ cleaning my afe- I called a diesel shop here in Omaha and they clean and re-oil it for $5 a pop. I can't complain as the filters look like new and I "trust" that they have been re-oiled better than what I could do at home.

    Enabling High Idle @ Dealer

I have an '07 six speed too- when I asked Woohouse to make the switch they claimed that it couldn't be done on a manual.

Coolant Rear of the Engine Compartment Leak Question

You bet I'll get a pic. up tomorrow when I've got good light. You're right about leaking right on the turbo/exhaust. The way I found the leak is on the bottom of the truck where there is a little 1/4 inch x 5 inch gap on the bottom where the transmission and the bell housing bolt up. I think...

Coolant Rear of the Engine Compartment Leak Question

Thanks in advance for the help. In previous strings I have noticed a quick fix for coolant leak at the back (firewall) area could be a loose clamp. I found the clamp right above the turbo. (I know it's coolant- after leaving a white paper on the garage floor, I did the old "college chemistry"...

    Which Exhaust

I see you are in cali so a cat is going to have to stay. I have an MBRP 5" turbo-back on my 07. It sounds great- low pitch growl. The only drawback is when you are pulling and/or running the freeway at 75-80. The noise is definately noticable. I DO have a muffler in line, but is installed...

    CTD Veteran's----Need some help

Thanks for the replies---- 4. 10 by the sticker on the differential. On the window sticker of my truck is says... . "This truck created especially for Harlan King... " Obviously Harlan didn't want it, but must pull stumps for a living! Ha. Thanks again.

    CTD Veteran's----Need some help

I have an 07 5. 9 w/a 6 spd manual. How do I determine what the gear ratio of my truck is? When running 65-70 it runs about 2200- while my buddies auto 5. 9 runs about 1900. Just curious--- Thanks for your help.

    07 5.9 w/ 6 spd Manual Trans Fluid Leaking

I have an 07 that JUST started leaking what looks like trans fluid on the right side near the bell housing. I read a thread earlier about a loose hose near the turbo, have not tried tightenging that yet. I had a clutch put in exactly 1 year ago- could this leak have anything to do with that?

    Cat

07' No cat- low tone muffler from MBRP. Sounds great- low voice most of the time. Have you looked in a cat converter? Lotta resistence- FWIW

Power window problem. Driver only now

Window power modules in that year of ANY Dodge are suspect. Would recommend replacing with new OEM part. I've been down the road before.

    04 Clutch replacement cost?

Clutch Cost I have an 07 w/ a 5. 9 that has 70K on it. I replaced the clutch with 65K and it IS NOT ridden hard. The total cost was approx. 1900 give or take (Eastern Nebraska Dodge Dealership). A SouthBend clutch would cost about 2300 installed. If I had it to do all over again- I would go...

2007 5.9 who loves them who dont.

Great pickup for what I do. ~70k miles/24 mos. old and it does 20-22 mpg. I used to trade pickups every 2 years when I was younger and dumber. I plan on keeping this one for a long time-that's not the same talk I hear from my friends with 6. 7's. They too-will be great once the bugs are worked out.

    2007 6sp manual CLUTCH ?

Thanks for the replies---yes DMF not DD (that's why I'm selling medical and not fixing dodge's-Ha!) Anyway- As far as warranty- I got a little help from my dealer and none from Dodge. The truck is truly a road truck and pulls my 28 foot camper 3-4x per summer-so pretty easy life for the...

    2007 6sp manual CLUTCH ?

Lost my original clutch at 50K, Dodge replaced with new DD "mercedes" clutch. My question is- were improvements made or should I expect to replace another clutch in the future. I pull a light 5th wheel, have a Diablo Sport PP that I turn OFF when pulling, aFe filter, and exhaust... ... With that...

    Turbo Back or Cat Back

07 5.9 FWIW- I have an 07 5. 9L that I use as a "road truck" for my job in medical sales. Right after buying my truck I cut out the cat and installed a 5" turbo back MBRP with a minimal resistance muffler. The pro's: EGT's are lower when pulling (have a 5th wheel), better response, and 1-2...
