    don't know what your future plans for power output, but I don't think you can go wrong with BLUE CHIP DIESEL vp44's I went the extra $ for his "X" pump (22 extra hp and 2-3 mpg) GOOD VALUE and he will follow up with great customer service.     genos dash cover is your best and cheapest route, I don't think I'd go to NANCY PELOSI AUTO REPAIR in your town, if given an alternative, and after many bad experiences, involved repairs under the dash are usually handled best by factory trained techs (dealer service)

    thanks, steve, I called AERO TANKS and yes, they do make a 56 gal tank for my truck, (transferflow does NOT) but I would have to drive to commiefornia (californicatya), a two day round trip, to get their 180. 00 install,or pay the 370. 00 truck ship delivery ( I think they go by way of hawaii)...

    does anyone know where I could source a larger than stock replacement fuel tank,(like the TITAN or Transferfuel) neither company mfg's tanks for dodges made after 05 (why) they used to, I had a 54 gal in my 02 dually. wish I still had it. (tank or truck)

    we're just peachy here in NV, and the buckaroo'in is still keepin us busy. glad you read my thread, this was the best mod I made, just for the handling improvement, second best was the FLUIDAMPER, (smoothed out the motor a BUNCH!!) all the power in the world dont mean a thing if ya cant point...

    GO WITH BLUE CHIP X !!!! 22 more hp ( I got 2 1/2 mpg more) and the peace of mind from a NEW computer board, plus ALL the upgrades -- steel liners, etc. etc. money well spent

    I installed the SPOHN adjustable track bar and the steering box stabilizer at the same time, the first time I drove it, it was as stable and tracked as well as my NEW F150 4x4 good stuff!!

    I was where you were several years ago, a 99 w/ 53 block, ran fine buncha mods, but I started worrying about the "infamous 53" if you have 270k on this motor, IT'S NOT GONNA CRACK unless you hit a building at over 100 mph the 53's only cracked if the wall thickness was under. 250" apparently...
