I just made a 1800 mile trip with my 3rd gen 6. 7 with cruise set on 62 mph except for 175 miles of freeway at 70 mph. O/H showed 18. 5. Hand calculated was 16. 7 mpg. Also was about 2 hours of city driving in that mileage. I would think that 4th gens might do a little better.

My truck is not deleted, but had the throttle icon coming on. I thought my batteries were good. A load test found one bad battery. Replacing the batteries and making sure gronds were tight resolved the issue. I think the service manual has a diagnostic procedure for this issue.

Load test your batteries and check all grounds including ECM ground.
