    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 1997 Intake manifold for hydroboost truck

That is good to know. I have plates blocking off the EGR also and the price on the Pusher is great!

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 1997 Intake manifold for hydroboost truck

97Turbo, my truck is similar to yours so I am very interested in this thread. My only question is that I have searched CFM+ website and cannot find the "Pusher" model. Where did you order yours from?

    Aftermarket Intake manifold or OEM?

OK, thanks Vaughn, that definately helps me in my decision as I have done minor tweaks to the power through the free AFC mods, stock plate and AFC housing slid all the way forward. Still tuning the preboost, but it made an noticable difference. I plan on grinding my plate to a 10 but I need to...

    Aftermarket Intake manifold or OEM?

My 1997 CTD is and EGR model that has the EGR deleted. I know that the EGR intake manifold is really restrictive and have heard that the stock non-EGR is better than the EGR. My question is which should I get, a stock non-EGR or spend a little more on an aftermarket such as an AFE bladerunner...

Here is the 97 that the 70 Power Wagon body will go onto.

12V 1970 Dodge Power Wagon Crew cab

Wow, it has been awhile since I have got anything posted on this build. Can't say that I have made any huge leaps or bounds on the project either, but I figured I will update everyone with where I am at on it. I cut out the driverside floor pan and used 16 gauge steel to weld in for a new pan. I...

12V 1970 Dodge Power Wagon Crew cab

It has been a while since I have been able to get much work done on my project, but unforeseen time off from work has allowed me to get a little more done. My lack of a hoist and other items caused me to improvise in order to lift the cab of the '70 off the frame. I knew a 5 ton come-a-long...

    dse in truck 04-05 CTD

You have quite a talent with fabrication. I really enjoyed reading this whole post (it took a couple days!) Sure gets the wheels turning on how to save some $$ with diesel at $3. 95/gal. Thanks for posting what you have done and are doing, it is great.

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Now what should I do?

Hmmm... I just noticed when you posted this. LOL probably not helpful for you now.

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Now what should I do?

Hey Alpha I might be able to help, maybe... I have a 97 Ext Cab LWB that I am planning on stripping the body off to be replaced with a 1970 Crew Cab Power Wagon. The only thing is is that I don't have immediate plans to take on this "little" project. Once I do, I plan on parting out the 97 body...

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) California 12V difference?

Thanks guys. Luckily MT doesn't have any emissions inspections so I have at it as far as mods. I wanted to get a little more pulling power out of it as I just came back from a camping trip towing a 26" camper in a headwind. Worked the rig pretty hard just to try and maintain 55mph. Thanks again.

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) California 12V difference?

Danavilla, I was thinking of adding a AFE bladerunner when I install the plate. I was wonder about how much of a flow restriction that original would have, especially with the additional port in it. Same goes with the exhaust manifold, but that won't get changed anytime soon. Thanks!

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) California 12V difference?

Awesome Vaughn, thanks. On a side note, you still running wvo blend? I read all of CJ's post. Really cool stuff.

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) California 12V difference?

I have been looking into adding a fuel plate to my 12V, automatic transmission, and came across something that has me wondering. I saw on one of the websites that refer to the 96-98 EGR engine and can't be upgraded. I haven't had a chance to check any serial numbers on my diesel to see if it is an EGR...

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Fuel gauge issues

I am having some issues with my fuel gauge on my truck and wanted to see what your thoughts were. It is the 1997 in my signature block and the fuel gauge is really sensitive to the point it will move 1/4 of a tank when you brake or accelerate. The gauge drops like a rock after about 3/4 of a...

12V 1970 Dodge Power Wagon Crew cab

Thanks for the good advice. I wish I had unlimited $$$, don't we all! I am hoping I can drop the body on the frame w/o moving the motor, maybe just modify the firewall!?! Or, if I get lucky, ever less modifications than that to marry the two together.

12V 1970 Dodge Power Wagon Crew cab

I started this project about two years ago now when I purchased the power wagon and, as most projects do, it has transformed and changed a couple times. With the recent purchase of my 1997 12v CTD I am again eager to get it finished. I have sanded down the fenders, hood and about 2/3 of the cab...

12V 1970 Dodge Power Wagon Crew cab

Tear down / very little rust I started to tear the 70 down and see what kind of a project I have as far as getting the body into decent shape. By no means do I plan on ending up with a show truck, just a four door pickup that looks decent and works for me and my family. The front end came apart...
