The yellow wire ran to the EGT gauge. As you can see, the truck has a full EGR/DPF delete. It was obviously not professionally done. Everything he disconnected (EGR, DPF, o2) was just left uncapped/wrapped and loosely zip tied to the nearest solid object to collect moisture and draw suspicion...
