    Diesel fuel drip

The Banjo fitting near the filter was plenty tight. There is corrosion on this line and I suspect things have become a little "porous". If it's not coming out of the (steel) line itself, I suspect it's where the brace was attached to the line. Geno's has some listed but don't match what I have...

    Diesel fuel drip

Everything was tight, looks like a line replacement. The "Banjo" bolt on the back of the head area looks like a bugger to work on. Any hints from those that have been in that area? N

    Diesel fuel drip

Thanks for the response. It looks like I was researching the wrong part/area. I think the line problem is the line that starts at the back of the head, makes it's way down along side the fuel filter and then has the quick-connect for the plastic hose- As shown here-...

    Diesel fuel drip

Hi guys, I have a diesel fuel drip, just under drivers side foot well, where the frame starts to curve up.. It's coming out of what appears to be a return line that runs parallel with the supply line. This line looks like there is a piece of piece of fuel line covering this "transitional" piece...

Do You Ever Use The "Tag Cloud"?

The Tag Cloud is something that can really help Members find detailed information on their questions or topics. Here is a little tutorial on how it works I did for the BMW MOA forum. https://forums.bmwmoa.org/showthread.php?75890-Do-you-ever-use-the-quot-Tag-Cloud-quot Hope it helps. N

Banjo bolt size or part number- '03 srw 3500 front caliper.

Yeah, always new washers- crush washers. The calipers are (rebuilt) King Calipers (Peabody Mass) and I've good luck with them- and they are real nice to deal with, come with the washers. The heads of the bolts are rusty......The end of the hose "blocks" are almost gone. I can get away with the...

Banjo bolt size or part number- '03 srw 3500 front caliper.

Great! Thanks for the response. I'm running a Can-Am 500XT as part of my toy collection :) N

Banjo bolt size or part number- '03 srw 3500 front caliper.

Greetings, I did a search and while the banjo bolt for the front brake lines are mentioned often, there is no cross (Dorman) or actual MOPAR part number. It's a 3500 Quad-cab, SRW and I'm doing the front brakes- 1st time......:p due to age but only 49K miles. I can probably reuse the old ones...

    Driver's Door Window Switch

I just replaced mine. For many years- no lights in the switches......then no control for passengers to use their windows.......lastly no control over the power outside mirrors. Cost for the new switch was about $100.00 delivered. Everything back to what it should be. 1st switch was Mexico, new...

    Door Locks not working properly

I think in cases such as mine, the switch is right in the dripline if it rains and the window is down a bit. The windows always work from drivers area but infrequently work from the other 3 doors. The anti-mess with the other windows switch is not making contact and it is also hot/cold extremes...

    Door Locks not working properly

I think that this has been an on-going problem. On my '03, it's the driver side controller lock-out button that is the culprit. If I spray some WD-40 in the button and work it, all the other window actuators come to life. In a search a while back IIRC, the removal of the DS switch, take it...

'03 transmission lines starting to rot out.

Well, lines are in. Oo. Removal of the front drive-shaft allowed the long line to go in-in one piece. Along with the suspect corrosion, when the plastic clips that hold on to the two lines were removed, there was a "bleed through" of ATF. Luckily I caught this in time. This is no doubt a road...

'03 transmission lines starting to rot out.

Thanks FJ. I picked up the lines today. ($450. 00 ) I have already started with some PB Blaster in the hopes to lessen the frozen fittings. I hadn't thought of cutting the long line but understand the value. The slip fittings on the cooler don't look horrible other than the location. Thanks...

'03 transmission lines starting to rot out.

Hi all. Just thought I'd check for any words of wisdom before I tackled replacing the transmission cooler lines on my '03 3500 SRW. I was underneath today replacing sway-bar links for the same reason. It's too bad as the truck only has 44K miles. Anyway, I noticed where the rubber line...

    Cigarette lighter r&r '03 3500 quad cab

Well that was more involved than need be The reply's were helpful but just to clarify a couple of things. If you have a set of snap-ring pliers with interchangeable tips you can load them in so they are pointing to the left and to the right. Inserted into the outlet look for 2 small square...

    balljoint diagonosis

The last time I had this type of thing was when the front drive shaft was going bad. While driving down the road and the problem is occurring you can put the truck in neutral and see if the lack of power to the drive train make a difference. (it was the CV joint)

    Cigarette lighter r&r '03 3500 quad cab

Hi all, I was wondering if anybody has replaced the cigarette lighter in their '03. It's another one of those pesky "much easier the second time" things. I can't figure whats holding it in. The factory books says it snaps in but it doesn't seem that way. The outlet has gone bad from too much...
