2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission How to Replace Cab in my driveway?

Remove the bed first and crib it up with a floor jack and roll the truck out from under it. Than repeat with the cab just make sure you have room for the wheels to roll by. I've done this with full jeep body's in the past. I'm actually going to swap out my flat bed for an 8 foot bed on my 06...

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Removing Steering Damper, HELP!

X2 on hitting the trackbar where the taper is. Let the PB blast and shock do the work. You don't even need to take large swings with the hammer. Afew firm handed blows should remove it. Don't wast time with any kind of pickle fork.

    2006 Low rpm motor shake

No it's dry. I wouldn't have bought the truck if it was oiled. I guess i've pretty much talked myself into running a filter full of injector cleaner. Any brands of cleaner better than others? Diesel 911 > Mopar?

    2006 Low rpm motor shake

After a few months of trying different things and thinking about it, I've come to the conclusion I have no idea. What I do know. -Below 1000 rpm I have a pretty noticeable shake. -I got the truck with a Aem air intake what was kinda dirty. -Replaced fuel filter -oil level was normal...

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 1995 2500 CTD Wait to start Light

I had the same problem with my 94. My light seemed to work when it wanted to. Odd enough it seemed to work more in the spring when it started to warm up outside. Replaced the dash bulb, still nothing. I can't remeber replacing any sensors to try and fix it, but I may have.

    Brake capliers 2004 3500

I've never had good luck rebuilding them myself. Here in the heart of the salt belt the pitting and lack of material to refinish make the repair more of a band aid.

New SMARTY touch to be released in November

Any plans for a better mount than the suction cup? I feel like my 06 already has huge bling spots on the a piller. I seems to me there's tons of extra room next to the hvac controls or to the left of the stick shift.

    Decent gloves

Costco gloves have always treated me well. Usually last a season of wood cutting. First thing I do is turn them inside out. Why on earth they put the ruff/stitched side agints the hand blows my mind. Sure the soft side looks better from the outside, but it sure does feels better on the palm...

It hurts to sell my old truck

I can't even start to think about selling my old truck. Just the though of seeing it around town without me driving it makes me sad. It isn't just a truck, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission front ball joints

I hate it when I see a post about dodge front end work and it always ends in "well the front bearing are going to be junk after you look at it to hard". If you plan on reusing them, don't use heat on them, don't use a 20lbs sledge hammer and use common sense. Just makes me sad knowing people...

Grinding noise when stopping just before coming to a full stop.

Get it in the air and checking for slop by rocking the tire from the top and bottom and spinning the tire and listening for grinding. That about as basic as trouble shooting can get. Usually with a bad front bearing you'll be able to really hear it humming when you turn when rolling down the...
