    Transfer case attempting to shift into 4 low after key is turned off??? 2006 3500 5.9

    Replaced the transfer case engage electric motor. $250 + 1hr of my time. Did not have to drop the driveshaft. Been three days now and no issues so far. Time will tell if I fixed a symptom, or the root cause.

    How would you prioritize troubleshooting? If the a/c transducer was the culprit, would I see any a/c symptoms? Is a short in the 5v system a possible tipm connector issue? I've heard of c130, where is that and is it associated? I appreciate your help. kevin

    Transfer case attempting to engage 4 low after key is turned off??? 2006 3500 5.9 You can hear it attempting to engage. any insight? I'm an old guy not used to these boards, so excuse me if this has been discussed before. I couldn't find anything with my searches. Please, I need help. Thanks kevin
