For what's it's worth, I just swapped my stage-.5 2005 type BBI's for stage-1 2003 type. Much better haze & smoke control. In my 2004.5 5.9.

I think additives help, but which one(s)? I feel confident that hotshots is good. Project Farm has good videos where he tests a LOT of stuff & hotshots has done well.

Wow, at work we have the kenworth t380 trucks that use the px7 parcarr engine (cummins 6.7) & we had this ruin an engine. Sounds like they have been having this problem some.

Hmmm, I just put a Geno's Gates pump on my truck. Ran plain water till I got around to changing the pump. Started leaking when we were camping in central PA & an ole timer told me to loosen the rad cap so no psi would build. This drastically reduced the leak so we could get home. Though...
