My apologies, I forgot that specific detail when I posted. It's the stock deck with the tape cassette player with no pillar speakers, just the ones in the doors.
I've been digging through articles, chasing wires and cleaning dust out of the dashboard doors etc trying to solve a reoccurring problem with the stereo in my truck. I was hoping that someone may be able to point me in the direction of a solution that works and or something to replace what is...
RS looks slick. Who did you use for a retailer?
I noticed Geno's has replacement lenses but I didn't see any full sets
Recon's are nice, how do their sets conform to the cab
Thanks guys
I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations as far as adding Cab Lights to a truck that di not come with cab lights installed.
Install tips, brands, etc.
Thanks in advance! :)
If you crack the injectors are they all getting fuel? My '90 sits for long periods of time frequently and I have to crack the fuel lines at the injectors to make sure she's getting fuel each time I start her back up. Just a thought.
Hmm, haven't seen too many tube baskets. I've always just pondered the thought of making the truck into something more useful for camping and being out in the mountains
I've been thinking of adding a roof rack to my 2nd gen, not too sure about it though. While I would like something of the sorts mounted on jeeps and trail rigs, with the jack and tools strap in the basket and on the sides. However I can't seem to find anything like that for a dodge.
Just...
I will have to look into that, as I thought that I ordered them well beyond the weight that they would need to hold up with their arc as it is a very stiff ride
The actually age of the springs is roughly 7 years. And I requested them pretty stiff, believe I asked for them each to hold up a couple tons. Wasn't doing any wheeling with the truck, didn't want much flex and the truck rode smooth.
I wish I had a picture to post of it so it would make more sense being seen, but the curiosity is burning away at my mind and I can't figure it out searching the internet.
I've got a Dana 70 with an electrical connection on top of the differential and I've never seen anything like it before...
I did get springs for a diesel. Failed to mention last night when I posted that I had them custom made from alcan spring. They've been installed on the truck 7 years now.
Had installed 6 inch leaf springs on my truck and now they have begun to rest on the chassis.
Any suggestions/thoughts on this?
Any brand of lift kit for the diesel rigs known to hold their form for a long life?
The batteries that are currently in my truck are starting to get pretty old, and the terminals seem to corrode even after trying to prevent the corrosion. And whenever it gets cold they always seem to end up drained.
I was trying to find the battery rating requirements for the second gen...
I was asking since I didnt know the gvwr was on trailers too. I dont have a death with to tow that with my 2500, atleast I know with my luck for this truck, she would die first haha.
Seeing this for trailer specifications:
GVWR: 17,740 LBS.
Dry Weight: 10,300 LBS.
What does this mean for your truck? I'm trying to wrap my head around that and can't seem to make sense of it. Hoping you guys could help, thank you.
