I have been interested in if the baking works on these smaller trucks. I know it worked well on our freightliner. It had band clamps that made it easy to get baked. IIRC it was done @ every 150,000 miles or as needed.

Fix the sensor. It was likely keeping it from fully cleaning the filter and move on. Or delete. There is a very good chance the filter is fine unless the smoke was from a crack that may have developed.

I have had my Cooper Maxx ST for several months now in the stock size. They are much better than the stock Nexens were. Tread squirm took 500 ish miles to go away. The rears needed 35 psi cold to fully contact the ground where the Nexens needed 65 psi. So far loving the Coopers.
