The Trucks got 450,000 KM, and ,i suppose if i was to go into the crankcase breather , i would be replace the tappet gaskets ?

True dat!. My gas pot wheelin rig ( '94 1500 4x4) has had one for 8 years. I actually tried it out with a SPOOLED front diff, with some success . But the 2wd low feature is definately worth it. I'll be converting the "94 2500 TDR very soon. MAC, Merry X-mas:D

I Believe it changed over when they went to OBD2. My 1998 dodge has one but both my 94's don't. I prefer the older style, because the newer ones get ripped off during normal use in the bush. MAC:)
