    Drag link weld question (sorry!)

It's not for me . I had my 2014 Ram aligned ,after I got the new drag link . Wanted it set to the Thuren specs , only reason . Although I had never noticed any abnormal wear on my tires before ,or after .

    Differential Lube

lets face it, some people are looking for someone to tell them what they want to hear, not what the data or the facts point at. I know that there is no data that proves one brand of lube significantly outperforms a different brand of lube but some people still cling to that idea like it is 1950...

    Differential Lube

There’s two sides to this coin , let’s take someone, they slap in Amsoil , heard it’s the best thing since sliced bread. He goes 10k miles his differential goes out , he’s on the forums telling everyone don’t use Amsoil , you know , and I know that differential mostly likely was on its way out ...

ZF Powerline for 2025 RAM HD Diesel

So far my son has had no problems with the safety stuff . When I drove it on the freeway here ,the traffic was not bad . It was pretty nice . He did tell me you can't use it in a lot of traffic , if someone passes ,and changes lanes right in front of you , it slams on the brakes .

ZF Powerline for 2025 RAM HD Diesel

I could take or leave the lane assist , but as mentioned I do like adaptive cruise . Having driven my sons 2022 when he got it , lane assist when I drove it did not seem like anything I would have to have .

ZF Powerline for 2025 RAM HD Diesel

Same here , I'll never wear out my 2014 with 79K on it . It's a pretty well equipped Laramie . MY son has a 2022 , he ordered , It's a pretty well equipped Laramie . The only thing he has that I don't that I would like to have ,and that is adaptive cruise .

    Tire air pressure

I air as said to 80 psi cold towing a fifth wheel , not concerned at all with whatever that pressure gets to after getting heated up , I have on seen my dash TPMS those rears being nearly 90 psi , they are designed to do that , as you know thats why its always cold inflation you go by ,not...

    Tire air pressure

I have always felt the same with 80 psi on my rears with my fifth wheel ,as said above in my previous post I am close enough , and see no reason not to run 80 psi towing . Soon as I get to where I am going , I usually air down to 45 psi . Unless just for a day or two, a week or longer , I air...

    Tire air pressure

Ron , I am so close to the 7K on my rear axle with the fifth wheel , I am not really worried about being 80 psi , over say 70-75 psi . My towing miles are pretty limited these days . We spend a lot of time in the fifth wheel ,but not a lot of miles getting to ,and from . I weighed a few years...

    Tire air pressure

I run 60 psi cold on my front towing or not , it's what's on the door pillar on my 2014 3500 SRW. It seems to work for me , tire wear, and handling is okay . I run the Thuren specs the alignment . I rotate every 5K . Running empty on the rear I run 45psi cold . 80 psi. towing the fifth wheel .

new 2024 at great price or 2025

Same here , my 2014 68rfe has served me well . Only got 76k on it , most likely my last truck . Tows a fifth wheel around the mountain west a bit every year . Other than that it’s a garage queen. I’ve known guys that towed into their late 80’s , and a couple that went to 90 . If I’m that lucky...

    Drag link weld question (sorry!)

It appears to me some have had success with Ramcares while others have not . I appears the cost of the drag link is on you , what is the price tag now $300-400 ???

    Deletes Legal?

Well it wasn't exactly invisible , it was the nox sensors . They were intermittent , cleared the code a couple times ,seemed like the third time was the charm . As said unknown to me at the time , the monitors had not cleared , no passing the emissions test . This went on for a couple years...

    Drag link weld question (sorry!)

Yup ,took mine to a trusted alignment shop ,they already knew about the Thuren specs ,and got it done right .

    Deletes Legal?

They are very hard , If I remember I even checked in with you on my monitors . I did several drive cycles that were recommended , even got a flash done by the dealer . Nothing worked except miles ,and miles . So you are saying after the 67a recall you had some monitors that had to clear to...

    Deletes Legal?

Unfortunately Davis County is not one of them .:( I believe Weber county next door does not require emission testing , at least they didn't used to . Know a local guy that told me he takes his stuff off , and on to pass emissions , I can't imagine going thru that every year .

    Deletes Legal?

I'm sure most do pass , three years ago I did not ,and it was an ordeal . I had a CEL that I repaired ,but unknown to me at the time , we have those monitors that have to clear , and if you have two or more it doesn't pass here in Utah , well I had four . There is no way to clear them expect...
