Not sure if this helps you, but, I had to sign the service paper beside where it said recall. No welding done.
I checked later at the FCA recall site and it was cleared. SOOoooOoooOo, your service manager is full of it and he CAN clear it.
I'm pushing 6'3" and have zero issues with the seat at the lowest setting. BUT, I don't have a sunroof and my truck is a '16. I wondering/ hoping lowering the seat will fix this issue for you.
I had nitto ridge grapplers. tried the stt pro afterwards. I wish I bought the ridge grapplers again. They are WAY quieter than the stt pros! I also feel that the stt pros aren't going to last as long. The ridge grapplers threw less rocks as well.

mine either goes green or looks like an acid trip. it happens randomly. I've taken it to the dealer that supposedly replaced the camera. The problem went away for awhile but it's back again. Seems to be some kind of short.

And then the alignment shop is going to reweld the nuts? Can't wait to see how that works out. I'm willing to bet most alignment shops don't even own a welding machine.
Last time I checked, welding ANYTHING is not cheap.
