I think they look alot better then the stock tires, filling up those big wheel wells and they fit good with no problems. Even had 3 inches to spare on the garage door.

I finally ordered the Toyo's Open Country A/T 2 285/75/17 from discount tire yesterday. Hope I'm happy with them.

I have had BFG's on one of my last RAMS and wasn't happy with them, seem to wear fast even though I took care of them. A buddy of mine has the BFG's on his RAM with only 20,000 miles and they aren't doing very well either, but I don't think he has rotated them so that's part his own fault. I'm...

Is anyone running those Nitto EXO Grapplers AWT that they talked about in the last issue of TDR? I think ill go with either the Nitto's or the Toyo Open Country A/T II, 285/70/17 for the Nitto's or the 285/75/17 in the Toyo's.

I don't understand why they wouldn't want you to idle, aren't diesels made to idle? look at semi's or your big generators. If its cold the truck idles up by itself. If its not cold enough for the truck to idle up on its own I will idle up to keep the oil pressure up. Anytime my semi or my RAM...

I know what you mean by "salesman" I called my local Discount Tire yesterday to check availability on the Toyo's and he said they of coarse would have to be special ordered and would cost $250 bucks a tire. I also asked about the BFG's and he said they were only $230 a tire and was a much better...

I try to always buy diesel at our local Casey's which their diesel is Bio Free or the FS they also have Bio Free diesel in the winter months and they add their additive to it.

Would they fall under that 65,000 mile warranty that I see Toyo has?

I have been lookin at those Toyo's Open Country A/T2 285/75/17 and they look pretty good, I like the construction of them and the 65,000 warranty. Just need to see if the bigger tires fits ok in the wheel wells. Is anyone running 285/75/17 on a stock set up on a 2011 RAM 2500 4x4?

I use Valvoline Premium Blue 15/40 and Fleetguard LF16035 filters , I change everyone 100 hours or 5000 miles whatever comes first. I change the fuel filter every other oil change

Thanks everyone for the input, I was thinkin the BFG's would serve me well, but I'm also going to look into those Coopers, I think I'm going to purchase them from Discount Tire since one is close to me and they are all over the place if I were to have a problem while out on the road.

Thanks for your reply, what kind of A/T's do you run?, The boss man runs the BF Goodrich on his RAM and he likes the traction, but they aren't wearing well with only 20,000 miles on them, but then again he never has rotated them.

I had an Edge on my 03 CTD and I have a Smarty on my 11 CTD. The one thing I liked about the Edge over the Smarty was I could change the power settings on the go.
