Pacbrake and GDP secondary fuel filter mount

And I haven’t ever been short of air for brake operation (CO, WY, ID, MT, NM, UT towing), but have wanted more when it came to adding air to tires. My stopgap is to install an additional reservoir.

Pacbrake and GDP secondary fuel filter mount

I used my GDP bracket and mounted my compressor in an inverted position instead of the filter. Then I built my own of one of these (https://www.dieselfuelfilterkits.com/2003-2012-cummins). Eventually, I would like to have an ARB compressor… Also, I have a shifter mounted switch-

need a radio, CD, Navigation combination for my 2005 Ram

A double din w/CD player will require you to butcher your sub-dash. I found this helpful when I was looking to change mine- https://www.turbodieselregister.com/threads/looking-for-aftermarket-radio-upgrade.269799/page-2

    Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield

This is one of the less expensive options that I have seen. Would you purchase from them over others, if doing the upgrade again? Or is something like this (https://www.ptpturboblankets.com/products/2003-2007-cummins-5-9l-turbo-manifold-blanket) worth the extra $ ?

Electric Fan combined with washer fluid meth cooling on rad for towing.

I have been conservative due to the EDGE timing factors- We probably won’t pull that hill again until August. (Will probably have blankets by then along with adjusting the temperature alarms) The north side is even more difficult- at 5,643’ the town speed limit is 20 MPH, then you top out above...

Electric Fan combined with washer fluid meth cooling on rad for towing.

Not to hijack- @AH64ID We can easily hit 1200+ EGT and I don’t like my coolant above 220. Yes, my fan locks up- but it won’t drop the temps once I am heat soaked. As an example: We start at approximately a mile above sea level, and are over 10,000’ in less than an hour (without a load)… The...

Electric Fan combined with washer fluid meth cooling on rad for towing.

I struggle with coolant and EGT temps, I think blankets and custom tuning is in my future versus another system to complicate things…

My 2005 could smoke when stock, and still can with stock program.

    Pacbrake installation on 05 auto

I had a leftover GDP bracket for the single filter that I used to mount the compressor in an upside down configuration. If you haven’t purchased the kit yet, I would recommend a more hefty air compressor (ARB) - depending upon your goals and pocketbook.

    Pacbrake PRXB installed.

@NIsaacs & @Motorhead Yeah (at the risk of derailment of the thread) I should have been more clear. I have the new gasket for between the exhaust manifold and turbo. The initial install of the exhaust brake went smoothly (onto OEM parts). When we upgraded the exhaust manifold and turbo we had...

    Pacbrake PRXB installed.

I have an exhaust leak between my exhaust manifold and turbo, will definitely give this a try-

    Need an exhaust brake.

Not an auto, but pleased with PXRB- I would recommend an ARB compressor instead of the small pump…

Anyone noticing *serious* Power Service inflation?

PS might be blended close to you, but their bases are sourced globally. Have you noticed to cost of cetane alone?

    Batteries?

OEM batteries lasted about eight years, then installed Duracells from Batteries Plus. Last month a set of Duracells from Sam’s Club were installed, though they have slightly lower CCAs.
