Make sure if you install this that you install it in the orifice area of the OEM location. It's actually right behind the passenger side battery where the line runs through between the inner and outer fender. You'll have to cut the crimped are of that line and install this piece and likely will...
Up-down, airbag, air suspension! Pretty much anything that makes some sorta common sense. I saw you had 2 that said high-low, that would work too. A blank switch would be better than a winch switch in my opinion. Lol. I'm not sure if they have the a similar green tint as the Dodge dash...
Thanks, that'll help a lot. I'm having trouble finding a double momentary switch that doesn't have winch in winch out on it. That switch is what I want, but with a different cover on it. My back up lights are probably just going to be strictly switch operated because I want them as much for me...
Thanks for the information! I had actually gotten curious and went by a parts store yesterday and picked up a switch just to see if by chance it would fit into that space, well you know what I discovered,[emoji6], Dodge might have done it on purpose, but I speculate they accidentally made a...
I do like that switch setup in the lower cubby. I could stand to lose that one and install switches there. Is that panel something you made or is it a bought switch panel? I'm planning on installing a couple led reverse lights under my bumper and need a switch for them so I can use just when I...
Thanks for the input so far. Keep the ideas coming. I have toyed with installing an overhead console for the gauges and mounting switches elsewhere, but that airlift gauge with the switches on it might be the way to go and have a very clean install in an overhead 2-gauge pod. Going to look into...
Really didn't want to mount anything in any of my 4 little cubbies as I keep them full with knick-knacks such as wallet, check books, 22 cartridges, gate keys, and such. Was really wanting to try to use the recessed opening towards the front of the gear shifter, although using that location...
I know there must be a few folks out there who have came up with some neat looking mounting solutions for gauges and switches to control and monitor your air bags. I've got a couple ideas in mind and have looked for pictures and videos for 3rd gen trucks and really haven't found much at all. My...
Yeah, I copied and pasted all that except the first paragraph from another thread I was reading, mainly just for the formulas. I guess I should have copied and pasted the bulb information too or erased that part! Sorry for the confusion.
Found the following in another thread researching this. The formulas shown and the data for a 1157 bulb when worked out show that a 6 ohm 30 watt resistor should be correct to duplicate the load of a single 1157 bulb. Your 6 ohm 50 watt actually should be ideal for the intended function...
Thanks Bob4x4! That's exactly what it was. Hindsight is 20x20. Had I known what I know now, I'd have made the repairs myself and worked it out with the insurance company. Looking at my stuff, one might not suspect me as being really persnickety about it because of the lack of cleanliness, but...
Just got my truck back from the body shop where they had to do some wiring and replace the TIPM due to a blown tire. Now there is an airbag warning light on on the dash. Does anyone know what's possibly going on with this, how to fix it?
Information I saw recently on this engine, they are using a Jeep as a test mule. Author of the brief article was extremely impressed and stated he had put his name on the waiting list. I'm guessing that with a new administration in the White House and talks of possible less stringent EPA...
Not sure what kind, if any, mounting brackets that come with the compressor you're getting, but the one I installed a couple months ago in my '07 was made to fit between the inner and outer fender on the right front of the truck. Although it was part of the kit from BD with the exhaust brake, it...
I think industrial injection is in or near Salt Lake City. You might want to hit them up.

Some of the last? As in last ones they're going to produce, or from the latest design they are producing?

If you are referring to the smaller hoop style steps that became popular in the 80's, I think, before the full length pipe "nerf" bars came onto the scene, those hoops mostly mounted into nothing but the body metal and caused some significant problems after a few years. Like torn and cracked...
